Brian Maitland: An Artist

Born in the Highlands of Scotland, Brian has had a passion for the dramatic arts from a very early age. He has now been performing professionally on stage and screen for 8 years - with an additional 9 years in community and student theatre.

Brian has worked professionally on stage and screen. His most significant credits include: The Beast (Beauty & The Beast), Nazrul (Nazrul - A New Musical), Mowgli (The Jungle Book), Quasimodo (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Sammy Sax (Saucy Jack & The Space Vixens) and Forester Hill (Jack & The Beanstalk).

He is a graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's (RCS) Master of Arts Musical Theatre (Performance) programme. His training credits include: Mendel (Falsettos), Rapunzel's Prince (Into The Woods), Robby (Urinetown) and Mr Callaway (Lost in Time).

Brian currently resides in London, creating new and exciting projects. His writing credits include: The Jungle Bonk, PinocchiHoe and City Owl (A New Musical).

Outside of performance, Brian holds complimentary degrees and qualifications which contribute to his wider art. Seen below.
